Circle Lenses!

So, I'd ordered some circle lenses from HoneyColor on April 9, 2012, and I finally received them on April 22, 2012! I was so excited to get them, since I've ordered from them before.
The ones that I ordered the first time were the Geo Beauty Blue. I really wanted blue eyes, for some reason, and these were 14.0mm in diameter, and I didn't want my eyes to look too abnormal. They showed up pretty well on my dark brown eyes and were extremely comfortable! I really like them and I still use them. I make sure to keep them in for no more than 11hrs.
Here's a picture!!

As you can see, it's edited. However, that's how blue my eyes were. This was not really for normal, every-day use (I used it like that though!), but I thought it was pretty.

This next time around, when HoneyColor had a 10% discount, I decided to go for the Geo Nudy Grey series. Not sure what made me want grey... I liked purple, blue, green... but grey? Grey was not one of the ones that I'd usually order. But, that's what I ended up getting since it was $19.50 and also 14.0mm.

My doubts were erased as soon as I tried them on. Why hadn't I ordered grey earlier? These are my favorite color lenses so far. I'm no expert (having worn only purple, blue, and grey all from HoneyColor), but these are so comfortable and pretty natural looking. They even show up on my freaking brown eyes. Wow!! I love them so much!

As you can see, they're pretty big but for some reason, since the outer part is grey, I feel it doesn't make me look a bit stoned or like my eyes are extremely dialated, or something crazy. They don't slip (the blue ones slipped a bit and I could see through a haze of blue momentarily), and they don't pain my eyes at all.

I had to camwhore a little, you know...

Just a little! Those are the only photos of me I have right now. But you can clearly see, my eyes look grey! And I love them. I'll definitely wear them as much as possible.

I completely trust HoneyColor to send me safe lenses. I try to take really good care of my eyes and lenses, always cleaning and soaking them and using BioTrue contact solution. I tried ReNu and that ended up hurting my eyes with my regular contacts. Even though it's cheap, I guess it isn't always good quality... ;P

So yeah. I'm looking forward to, I dunno, getting a job and actually getting paid so that I can buy more lenses and whatever else I want!!

Two new photos! It's April 30, 2012, and I decided to try and put my blue and grey contacts in because I thought it'd be fun.

  1. *takes studious notes* INFORMATIVE! I needed this. I've been wanting circle lenses ever since I first saw you wearing them, haha. I just...don't know. I have never had contacts, so I am confused about it all! And I have this phobia about touching my eyes. *shudders*

But you are right, those grey ones are fantastic. They look natural, but oh so beautiful. <3 Good decision!!!

  2. Ooh!! I like your new photos, hehe. They are both nice, but I am really partial to those grey ones on you. You are so beautiful!! And your hair color is really nice and rich...is that your natural color?
